55767. Class B Meat pen, all breeds, consisting of three rabbits, a minimum weight of 3 lbs. & maximum weight 5 lbs. per rabbit in the meat pen; maximum age of 69 days.

Meat pen rabbits should be a meat pen breed (California, New Zealand or other large boned breeds).
Meat Pen can not be shown in breed classes.

SINGLE FRYERS

ONLY ONE ENTRY CAN BE MADE IN EACH CLASS. SINGLE FRYER CANNOT BE SHOWN IN THE BREED CLASSES.

55768. Class. A 1 rabbit, minimum weight of 3 lbs.& maximum weight 5 lbs. And it cannot be one of the meat pen rabbits.
55769. Class. B 1 rabbit, minimum weight of 3 lbs. & maximum weight 5 lbs. And it cannot be one of the meat pen rabbits.


RULES FOR THE MONROE COUNTY 4-H AND FFA RABBIT MEAT PEN AND SINGLE FRYER SALE

1. The judge will evaluate the meat pens (Open, Junior and 4-H), at the same time. Which should be the first class of the show will be agreed upon by the judges and the superintendents. The following procedure will be followed:
* The SUPERINTENDENTS will weigh each rabbit in the meat pen, AT 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
* After weighing, the judge will evaluate and place the meat pens for the Open, Junior and 4-H ratings.

2. The minimum weight of each meat pen or single fryer rabbit is 3 pounds and the maximum weight of each rabbit is 5 lbs. The rabbit must not be over 69 days.

3. Meat pen rabbits should be a meat pen breed (California, New Zealand, or other large boned breeds)

4. In the 4-H Show, the meat pens and single fryers will receive blue, red and white ribbons.

5. All meat pens and single fryers rated with blue and red ribbons will be eligible to sell.

6. 4-H & FFA members will only be allowed to sell one meat pen or one single fryer entry. The exhibitor must inform the 4-H superintendent of their decision at the judging.

7. 4-H & FFA exhibitors must draw for sale order after meat pen & single fryer classes are judged.

8. The seller and buyer will work out the handling and processing.

9. A group picture will be taken of all exhibitors and buyers. Fee for this advertisement will be charged equally to each exhibitor.

The Buyer of Grand Champion Rabbit Meat Pen will receive a trophy sponsored by Monroe County Rabbit Breeders.
The Buyer of Grand Champion Single Fryer will receive a trophy sponsored by Monroe County Rabbit Breeders.
The Grand Champion Rabbit Meat Pen 4-H Class will be awarded a trophy by Morris Lodge #787

The Grand Champion Single Fryer 4-H Class will be awarded a trophy by Lucky 4-H Club.

The Grand Champion Rabbit, 4-H Class, will be awarded a trophy from Butch & Laurie Sparwasser.
The Grand Champion Rabbit, Jr. Class, will be awarded a trophy by Gateway FS Inc.
The Grand Champion Buck, Jr. Class, will be awarded a trophy by Moonlight 4-H Club.
Grand Champion Doe, Jr. Class, will be awarded a trophy by Doug, Ryland & Layden Sparwasser.

The Grand Champion Rabbit Meat Pen, Jr. Class, will be awarded a trophy by Midwest Bird & Animal Breeders.

The Grand Champion Single Fryer, Jr. Class, will be awarded a trophy by J & B Rabbitry.

Junior Showmanship Rabbit will be awarded a trophy by J & B Rabbitry.

Senior Showmanship Rabbit will be awarded a trophy by Gateway FS, Inc.
